Entry to CTC College of Performing Arts is by audition only. Auditions are free of charge and we are looking for potential not perfection!
> Raw talent, passion and trainability!
> Completed online application form
> Successful audition and interview at CTC Studios
> 4 GSCE’s grade 4 and above, including Maths and English (Level 3 only – resits available)
> A Levels / Level 3 equivalent (Foundation only – Level 3 top up qualifications available)
Audition candidates will be invited to join the college for a morning or afternoon to take part in classes and meet our current students. During the audition process, candidates will be given a tour of the studios and the opportunity to perform their solo audition pieces to the panel (please see ‘What to Prepare’ below). The audition will then conclude with a short interview with the Principal.
> A monologue (contemporary or classical)
> A song (musical theatre preferred)
> A solo dance* (*optional – a style of your choice)
Audition pieces should be no longer than 2 minutes each.
