The CTC are strongly committed to protecting personal data. The purpose of this statement is to set out how the CTC incorporating Children’s Theatre Company, CTC Foundation, CTC Academy, Management and Events, based in Needham Market, Suffolk collect, use and manage personal information that we obtain from you. We take the responsibility of looking after your personal data very seriously and take the utmost care to ensure all information we gather remains secure. This applies to personal data given to us both by individuals themselves, parents, guardians or by others.
If you make an enquiry to CTC you will be asked to provide your name, postcode, child’s name, child age, contact telephone number, email and mailing address and medical information (where applicable). When you complete the contact form you are giving permission to contact you by mail (where applicable), email and / or telephone about our services for a period of 90 days from the date of your enquiry.
We commit to not sharing any information you have provided without your consent, unless a legal requirement or other legitimate reason for us to do so. CTC will store this data and secure this electronically and in paper copy.
Through our application process upon joining CTC we request Consent, this can be given via a tick box on our membership registration form. By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving us permission to process personal data specifically for the purposes identified herewith and also stipulated in our general terms and conditions.
Personal details we collect will be used for:-
All CTC Activities and activity correspondence, including emergency contact details.
Administration, research, the provision of performance (public or otherwise in drama, acting, singing, movement and dance). The CTC may use this information for Marketing and promotional purposes by doing so the CTC recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all young people in performance related activities therefore will undertake all the necessary steps to ensure any photography, videography, will be used for solely for the purposes they are intended, such purpose will include CTC’s online, website, social media, physical promotional and marketing activities.
Medical information provided is recorded for the safe delivery of our services and is recorded for safeguarding purposes, such information is kept secure and accessed by CTC Staff members only.
Disclosures:
CTC will only pass on your data to third parties with your prior consent. Current third parties include Suffolk County Council Child Employment Team for the purposes of performance licensing.

You have the right to access the personal data that is held about you by the CTC and request that the information be added to, modified or deleted.
